if you find a band or dj that you like, find out what label they record with and check out other bands on the same label, it's a goldmine of goodies. these artists are all on the 'nettwerk' label, i also recommend arts&craft records and paper bag records for great (mostly canadian) music.

'commercial' success?

these are songs i heard for the first time in tv commercials. ads seem to be using music from lesser known indie bands more often, i guess they're more affordable, so commercials are actually a good source for finding un-commercial music, ha!
